Schizophrenia is an illness that ultimately almost no one recovers from. Success stories are stories of compromise and adaptation to a more limited life, almost no one lives the life they would have lived without the illness. Modern psychiatric criteria for success in schizo treatment is pathetic and probably designed to pad numbers and absolve it of responsibility.
This blog will at times seem rather technical and clinically/poorly written with its purpose unclear. But its my attempt at some kind of documentation.
I encourage those familiar with psychopharmacology to delve deep into my listed compounds. It is a ridiculously complicated web of poly pharmacy that no clinician would ever think to try or could try, it could only be done with years and years of practical experimentation. Each of those compounds have only been tried in isolation and known to have particular effects. SZ is a complicated illness with multiple brain systems compromised so it makes sense it would take so many different vectors, I did not start this with the intention of having so many compounds but it arose out of practical necessity. The result is simply empirically effective.
