The negative symptoms in SZ are quite complicated. multidimensional set of deficits that no questionnaire based test can really quantify. But key areas are avololition, anhedonia. Essentially a outward dullness and a clinically depressed like inability to act.
Essentially all the compounds on my list that are not the key antipsychotics given in The new antipsychotics are there for the negative symptoms. I will break these down and explain the effects of each one in some time.
